Is 15 min the min refresh time? I tried 5 min and it converts it to 300 min, which is 5 hours. 10 minutes is converted into 600 min. It doesn't accept fractions so I can'ttrick into doing 1/12 of an hour for five min. Thanks

I submitted a support ticket on this and need a response on how to solve this, very annoying.

When I goto Sync it states "preparing the google date" the goes to "Fail to Sync (ERROR CODE: 101)".

What am I suppose to do to solve this. You guys should really post what the error codes mean.

Agreed with the "Event Sync Error Report" comment above. I see the same errors on every sync and there's no way to (1) understand the problem, nor (2) resolve or ignore the error going forward.

It looks like it is related with one of Microsoft library: Visual C++ Runtime Libraries(x86).

Please try to do the following:

Please locate the downloaded installer file, when you run "exe" installer file, it will expend to two files: setup.exe, and iTaskProForOutlook2010.msi. Please try to run iTaskProForOutlook2010.msi directly.

I just downloaded the updated ITask Pro for Outlook 2010. It won't install, however, because the error message I have a newer version of the C++ Runtime libraries installed so natuarlly it won't dump the old stuff over new. I"ve included both the component error here and the contents of the logfile for you to take a look. Not sure if this has anythign to do with the update error I've been getting from the 1.0.0.1 version I have installed which gives me an "Unable to update iTaskPro" error when I start Outlook. Evidently, it can't access the updater either. So I tried the manual download method, and this is where I am at...

The reply you got from Things forum is the confirmation of what we replied to you. In iCal, when a task is moved, the timestamp isn't changed, so it won't get synced properly.

So for now, you probably need to work around this issue by making a little change in subject/date as suggested in our reply and the reply from Things forum.

I forwarded the question to the Things forum (see this thread), from which I got this reply:

<meta charset="utf-8" />

I used applescript to retrieve the exact modification date of the Things todo when moving focus, and the modification date does change.

I did the same thing with iCal when moving a todo between calendars, and the 'stamp date' of the iCal todo doesn't change.

So I think the issue is that iCal doesn't update its modification/stamp date when moving calendars. It would need a change of title/due date/priority/description etc for iCal to create a new stamp date.

If this is correct and modification date does change when moving focus, than the problem is within iGTasks?

Thanks for the quick feedback on this. The iCal tasks are integrated with Things, so maybe they'll be willing to change the modification timestamp on a move to prevent me from manually updating in iCal itself.

	Robbie,

Our developer looked into this issue. It is due to iCal internal issue. When the task is moved in iCal, it doesn't change the modifition timestamp. That causes this issue.

	Here is a quick work-around:

When you move a task in iCal, in "subject" of task field, you can add a space, then delete the space, then save the task again. That would force iCal to add modification timstamp.

In the long run, we will see if we can come up something to workaround this iCal internal issue.

	Thanks,

	Hi,

When I move a task from one task list to another in iCal, and then use the "Sync Now" menu item to synchronize with Google Tasks, the item reverts back to its original list. Is this wanted behaviour? Is there a possibility to change this?

All other things work like a charm, nice work.

	Kind regards,
Robbie

	Rick,

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. Apple imposes restriction on usb usage on third party apps. Except iTunes, there is no other third party app that could utilize the usb connection.

How about over the air sync with wifi or 3G at anywhere anytime? But it still requires iTaskPro desktop software installation though.

	Thanks,

	Hi,
I just want to point out that many people (including me) would like to synch our iPhone tasks to Outlook over USB, because we are not allowed to install unapproved software on our work computer, and getting new software approved is a nightmare. I would love to buy iTaskPro, but can't because you have no optoin to synch using USB. Just a suggestion for a future feature... as soon as you offer this, I will buy it.

	Aloha,

I final figured out why I could not sync. My Net Gear router N300 has a feature that prevents wireless devices on the network from connecting to each other. It does not impede wired connection only wireless. I fix that by unchecking the feature in the router under "Wireless Setting" uncheck "Enable Wireless Isolation "....

Now I see my destop and it tries to sync but I get "Activation Failed". FAQ suggests this is due to failure of client to access internet. I have confirmed that both client and desktop see the Inovation web site. Moreover, the account setting under "more" has accepted my email and password, but still will not sync. I have removed the password from the Settings on the Desktop syncing process and from the sync window on the client. Is this ok or must you have a password for the syncing to work? Any other suggestions.....

	cheers,
Hal :)
