Upgraded iPhone software, can't sync, won't recognize password, when opening app on phone get a message that shows: "run" and OK button. Any upgrade of iTask software or other steps to take? All worked well before upgrade.

Please update to iTaskPro v2.9 from iTunes store. It should address this issue.
